June-July , October-November , February – March are some of the best season. This okra batch started on march, i am expecting output at the end of april.
Arkka Anamika, Salkeerthi, susthira, arkka abhay, varsha, upahar, punjab padmini etc are some of the best varieties of ladies finger. I like arkka anamika a lot. you can grow this on grow bags or containers, make a good quality potting mix with soil treated with lime or dolomite. add cow dung powdered, goat manure, bone meal, neem cake etc to get #organic output. we can control nima worms by adding 50-100 grams of neem cake in each containers.
it’s better to soak seeds in plane water or Pseudomonas for 6 hours. this will ensure germination and we will get healthy seedlings. we can put 5-6 seeds in every container, later remove unhealthy seedlings. we will continue this YouTube #Agriculture video series with another vegetable plant.
